The Foyer of the Plenary Hall

The foyer is adorned with twin white marble pilasters, placed on the perimeter of the hall. The “mirrors” have richly ornamented frames, with geometric and floral stucco and profiles, crystal and brass sconces. The vaults have plaster frames, being separated by double arches with floral motifs. Natural light floods the foyer through a skylight that is richly ornamented with cast bronze elements.

Madrigal Galleries

On March 1, 2023, the Senate of Romania and the National Chamber Choir,,Madrigal – Marin Constantin” officially inaugurated the “Madrigal – Marin Constantin Galleries”. The “Madrigal – Marin Constantin Galleries” host cultural events, temporary and permanent exhibitions of exhibits and archive materials from the heritage of the National Chamber Choir,,Madrigal – Marin Constantin” and are included in the public visitation and guided tours circuit of the Senate of Romania.

Constantin Stere hall

The decorative material used predominantly in the construction of this hall is wood. The wall decoration is made of groups of two narrow wooden columns and silk panels. The ceiling is made of decorative coffers made of patinated plaster stucco. The floor is made of decorative parquet made of oak, mahogany and maple. The area of ​​the hall is 500 m2, and its capacity is 155 seats.

Sala Avram Iancu

Sala Avram Iancu are pardoseală din marmură albă de Ruşchiţa, cu elemente decorative din marmură roşie de Moneasa și bej de Căprior. Pe pereţi alternează „oglinzile” decorative din ipsos, cu stucatură de ipsos cu elemente decorative florale şi cu pilaștri din marmură albă de Rușchiţa, cu caneluri. Sala Avram Iancu are o suprafață de 450 m2 și o capacitate de 61 de locuri.

Sala Dimitrie Cantemir

Sala Dimitrie Cantemir (Salonul Alb) se află lângă Cabinetul preşedintelui Senatului României și găzduieşte primiri ale delegațiilor care efectuează vizite oficiale, întrevederi, precum şi evenimente organizate de comisiile parlamentare. Principala caracteristică arhitecturală a sălii este îmbinarea de diferite esențe pentru realizarea pardoselii, mai exact: stejar, paltin, mahon, cu chenar perimetral.
