Visits

Visiting the Senate of Romania can be done in organized groups of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 30 people through the Event Organization and Promotion Center.

The Senate of Romania: parliamentary tradition and institutional continuity

During the visits, guides from the Center for Organizing and Promoting Events will provide information on the architectural elements of the Senate spaces, as well as on the role, structure and organization of the Senate, legislative activity and parliamentary control, the history of the Senate, as well as other information of public interest, depending on the requests of the visitors.
In addition to the rooms currently open to the public, depending on the activities carried out within the Senate, they may include the President’s Office, the Constantin Brâncoveanu Hall, the Europa Hall, as well as the plenary hall.
Those interested in visiting will submit at least 24 hours before the day of the visit the table with the people who will participate in the visit, with the data on the identity card or passport and the registration numbers of the cars requesting access to the courtyard of the Palace of Parliament.
For foreign citizens, lists are sent at least 48 hours before the visit in order to schedule guides who speak internationally spoken foreign languages.

Visits can be made to all Senate premises or only partially.

Visitor groups will be picked up from the entrance A1 on the ground floor, by a guide and staff from the Internal Affairs Service, following their registration and verification by the SPP. The types of visit routes may be modified depending on the rooms and spaces available for tourists at a given time of day.
